An iPhone teleprompter with no subscription
If you use a teleprompter only when you have something to film, a recurring bill can be frustrating. Script Sight is sold as a one-time purchase with no subscription. The US App Store price is currently $24.99 USD; local prices can differ.
Match the app to the job
Script Sight combines voice-follow scrolling, adjustable text and scroll speed, front-camera recording and a reusable script library. It imports PDF, DOCX, RTF and TXT documents. Mirror Text supports compatible reflective camera rigs, with hardware purchased separately. Start by identifying which of these tools you will actually use.
Check the recording workflow
For recording directly on the phone, the app offers portrait and landscape video with microphone audio and saves recordings to Photos. You can then use your normal editing and publishing tools. For a separate camera setup, the phone becomes the script display and the camera records the finished picture.
Check compatibility before purchasing
The listing is designed for iPhone and requires iOS 17.0 or later. Read the current App Store compatibility details for your device. If you have a specific setup question, contact support before buying rather than assuming a feature such as remote control or external-camera integration is included.
Compare the complete cost
When comparing teleprompter apps, check the actual purchase terms and the features included at that price. Separate the software cost from any tripod, microphone or reflective rig you need. A one-time purchase may suit occasional filming as well as regular recording, but the right choice still depends on your workflow.
